No matter what kind of business you run, there’s a good chance that you will need a platform that works as a powerful promotion and marketing tool.
When comparing Kajabi vs ClickFunnels, it’s important to consider they are two popular all-in-one solutions for this purpose, and they both offer incredibly robust platforms capable of driving leads and running complex campaigns that deliver results to your online business.
However, because both options are all-in-one and come jam-packed with dozens of features and products at various price points, deciding which one is right for you and your online business can be a difficult, time-consuming, and emotionally draining task.

Because of this, we’re putting Kajabi vs ClickFunnels on their various abilities and working out which ones are best for which types of businesses. Note: For the purposes of this article we’ll be using ClickFunnels 2.0, the new redesign of ClickFunnels, for our comparison to Kajabi.
Kajabi vs ClickFunnels: What are they?
The best way to describe both Kajabi and ClickFunnels is as all-in-one online business management platforms designed to help businesses create, market, and sell products and services. They both are especially practical for modern, internet-based businesses that benefit from growing their bottom line through online activities.
Many businesses use these platforms to get leads for their businesses, convert those leads into customers and then subsequently fulfill the product or service to customers. For example, a yoga coach may send people who click their ads to landing pages that enroll viewers into drip email campaigns and provide payment pages as well as the delivery of the final product, which could be anything from a physical good to a membership in a website or premium podcast.
However, while both platforms offer similar products and services, and are often used for similar purposes, that’s where the similarities end. There are some big differences in the way they approach the features they provide.
Kajabi vs ClickFunnels: How They Differ
While both platforms are used similarly, they have very different perspectives in both the approach they take to achieving their shared goals as well as the target audience and use cases that each focuses on.
Kajabi is primarily focused on making it dead simple for everyday people to get started selling digital products and it places an emphasis on four types of digital products in particular: memberships, online courses, premium podcasts, and selling online courses and structured coaching. By limiting the types of products that they prioritize, as well as being very clear on the type of end-user they’re catering to, Kajabi has created a highly crafted, refined, and user-friendly software-as-a-service that is easy to pick up and start using.

This is what you’re greeted with shortly after creating a Kajabi account.
ClickFunnels however focuses on those with a bit more experience in running an online business. They provide users with robust analytics to test and optimize funnels. Like Kajabi, ClickFunnels provides you with everything you need to deliver digital products as well, such as online courses. However, the experience of creating these products may not be as seamless because the emphasis of ClickFunnels is on lead conversion and funnel optimization, not the end product.
Both platforms are great options for many online businesses, especially those that offer digital products with a healthy margin. Ultimately though, the choice between Kajabi and ClickFunnels will depend on your specific needs and goals.

It’s pretty easy to decide on a winner in a category when one option doesn’t offer the feature to begin with, which is why we’re giving this category to Kajabi. Kajabi makes it really easy to host a podcast and create a podcast rss feed that you can submit to the various podcast platforms. For this category however, it’s worth noting that it’s not hard to come by free podcast hosting in 2023, including more feature-rich podcast hosting than Kajabi offers.
Winner: Kajabi
5. Ecommerce
While it’s technically possible to use Kajabi for e-commerce with a bit of technical creativity, we recommend only using it to sell digital products. ClickFunnels is much better suited for building e-commerce funnels and selling digital and physical products alike, as it offers a range of features for building physical products pages, handling payments, and managing orders.
While, again, Kajabi may be able to be used to sell physical products as well (with some integrations and automations), ClickFunnels has thought about this use case since day one with their latest release and offers customization options for your product pages, including customizable themes and branding options. Kajabi does offer some features that could be useful for e-commerce, but its main focus is as an online course platform.

Both offer email marketing capabilities, but Kajabi is generally considered to have stronger email marketing features. Kajabi’s email marketing tools are built directly into its platform, allowing users to create and send emails to their subscribers without the need for third-party integrations.
Like their website templates, we found Kajabi’s email templates to be aesthetically pleasing while offering a wide range of customization and advanced automation options, such as triggering emails based on user behavior and actions.
ClickFunnels also offers an email marketing solution, and better yet they even have a built-in SMTP server for your custom domain email addresses, meaning you don’t have to worry about tinkering with your email server settings to prevent emails from going to the spam folder.
While we didn’t find ClickFunnels’ email templates to be quite as beautiful as Kajabi’s they more than suffice for the average user. We also generally preferred both ClickFunnels’ email sequence builder and email template builder.
Winner: Toss Up
9. Optimization and Analytics
While both platforms have the basics of Analytics covered, we generally preferred Kajabi’s analytics suite to Clickfunnels. While it wasn’t clear that Kajabi offers a more comprehensive suite of analytics, tracking, and optimization tools, it was clear that the experience the analytics of Kajabi offers makes it very easy to take action based on your insights, which should be the goal of analytics in the first place.
In comparison, we also found Clickfunnels to have powerful and useful analytics, and while the user interface was not quite as pleasant as Kajabi’s we did find it to be intuitive and user-friendly. You can get a good overview of the performance of each product, the performance of each funnel, and the performance of each step in the funnel. The analytics dashboard is also very user-friendly and easy to use.
Winner: Toss Up

This year, automated marketing will be more important than ever, so thankfully, marketing automation is a major feature of both. While we absolutely loved the professional look of Kajabi’s built-in templates and we really liked the ability to quickly reorder sections, we the ability to drag items around and edit text directly on the page made for a better overall experience in ClickFunnels.
In terms of SEO, both platforms offer the kind of technical SEO features that you would hope to have for your website, from alt-attributes to meta-description and titles. They both also have a number of additional features, such as an integrated blog system, custom HTML and CSS editing, and an easy way to add tracking codes. Winner: ClickFunnels
12. Kajabi vs Clickfunnels: Integrations
A key point of the difference between these platforms is how these apps interact with other platforms and services. Both ClickFunnels and Kajabi offer integrations with third parties, but with varying degrees of compatibility and options.
Kajabi offers a range of integrations with third-party tools out of the box, including email marketing tools like Mailchimp and ConvertKit, payment processors like Stripe, and analytics tools like Google Analytics. It also allows you to easily integrate Kajabi with hundreds of other apps by connecting to Zapier. And for anything else you might need, you have direct access to the API which gives you even more powerful integration options.
ClickFunnels on the other hand doesn’t offer the same level of support for certain services. While you can technically build almost any integration you’d like, setup is not quite as easy out of the box as only the raw API seems to be offered. This shouldn’t be a problem for more advanced users who can build their own solutions with 3rd party automation software, or those that have development knowledge on hand. However, users that less experienced in this regard may run into problems.
Winner: Kajabi

In general, we think both platforms offer decent customer support and that no matter which is correct for you you shouldn’t have any issue with getting the help that you need to accomplish your goals.
14. ClickFunnels vs Kajabi: Pricing
We’ve outlined the prices for both marketing tools below, at the time of writing.
Kajabi offers three pricing plans, according to their pricing page: a basic plan ($119/month paid yearly or $149/monthly), Growth ($159/month paid yearly or 199/monthly), and Pro ($319/month paid yearly or 399/monthly).
ClickFunnels offers three pricing plans: a basic plan ($127/month paid yearly or $147/monthly), Pro ($157/month paid yearly, or $197/monthly), and Funnel Hacker ($208/month paid yearly or $297/monthly).
Comparing these prices, all plans include unlimited landing pages, including sales pages, and we don’t feel that the pricing differences are compelling enough to justify choosing one of these powerful marketing platforms over the other on price only and recommend taking into account your business needs and your workstyle when making your decision.
